I look at the Imposter Syndrome types and I see that at many times I am one or all. I also relate to the applying for positions that I maybe be punching up at. I do feel though that my experiences are useful to those positions. Unfortunately, it feels like the recruiters don't appreciate my non-traditional experiences. So what is next?

I'm with you and feel like I relate to all of them with varying degrees. You ask a great question re: recruiters not appreciating your non-traditional experiences. It's important to remember that they skim and don't read, so the translation of your experiences for the role is important. Be sure to use the language of that industry and company culture. And bold key phrases and words to help them see what you need them to see. I also get that not hearing back can trigger imposter syndrome. I don't know what the stats are on "ghosting" but anecdotally it's incredibly high.

Love how you guided Chris through this and how this Imposter Syndrome is so relevant in the job market. Love how you can zero in on what's really happening, clarify it to free the one getting in their own way. Like you did for me!!
