How To Tackle the Impact of Being Gaslit

Read the full written blog post of this podcast.

In this week’s podcast, I talk about how grief can sometimes create a feeling of being gaslit because our loss is not being seen or validated by others. This happens in all sorts of ways including in the professional realm - being laid off or downsized is a huge source of disconnection.

Also, I just got a new mic so excited to be taking it for a test run. 😀 Take a listen! 🎧🎙️

Show Notes:

  • Check out this blog to learn more about dis-enfranchised grief.

  • I reference in the podcast how feelings around grief can be contradictory. Here’s a blog that you may found helpful: Grief is wildly confusing

  • Studies have shown that journaling has massive mental health benefits.

  • Endorphins are an important and direct way to feel better. They’re produced through movement: exercise, sex, massage!
