There’s a lot of chatter about imposter syndrome. What we don’t hear as much about is how over-confidence can slow or stop you from achieving your goals. If you’re not getting to where you want to go, take a listen to my recent experience of hubris and how it stopped me in my tracks. I’ve identified five reasons why you may be stuck in achieving your goals that are not about imposter syndrome.

Here are five reasons people may be getting stuck in achieving their goals:
Overconfident in their abilities
Ignore existing conditions that could impede or slow their progress
Are ill-prepared because they haven’t acknowledged the conditions
Hold a mistaken belief that they can simply push through any challenges if they just want it badly enough
Unwilling to ask for support
I truly am an OrangeTheory enthusiast. What I love: I wear a heart monitor that allows me to track my own performance vs. comparing myself to others. So while I feed off other folx energy, I’m challenging my own personal bests. I also love the structure of cardio and weights, and how every workout is different.
